Sports Medicine and Joint Replacement of the Shoulder, Hip, and Knee

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Dr. Springer graduated from Temple University’s School of Medicine, where he completed his orthopedic surgery training and served as team physician to Temple’s Division I football and basketball teams. He spent a year in fellowship training in sports medicine and joint reconstruction of the shoulder, hip, and knee in Orlando. While there, he was an assistant to the team physicians of the Orlando Magic.

Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Springer has been serving the community in Lee County since 2000. His wife, Jennifer, is a part-time ER physician and full-time mother to their two beautiful daughters and two energetic sons. He is a founding member of our Sports Medicine and Joint Replacement Centers of Excellence.
