Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida, one of Fort Myers’ first multi-specialty orthopedic practices is celebrating its 10th year serving the community.
Founders Dr. Jeffrey Richards and Dr. Charles Springer set out to establish our area’s only fellowship-trained group practice specializing in a variety of surgical and nonsurgical orthopedic services designed to provide patient care from diagnosis to recovery and beyond. Today, the practice serves several Lee County hospitals and employs 109.
Since opening in 2000, Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida has grown into a full service orthopedic medical practice with 8 fellowship-trained surgeons, five centers of excellence, a sports medicine center, physical medicine and rehabilitation program, pain management center, physical and occupational therapy department, and imaging center. Other physicians who have joined the practice include Dr. Antonio Flores, Dr. Fletcher Reynolds, Dr. Jeremy Schwartz, Dr. Allen Tafel, Dr. Paul Fuchs, and Dr. Patrick Leach.
