We are pleased to announce that Dr. W. Zachary Stone joined our practice on Monday, August 5th!! Dr. Stone attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he completed medical school and a residency in orthopedic surgery. Following residency, Dr. Stone remained at the University of Florida to complete a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Stone has had extensive training in direct anterior total hip replacement, outpatient hip and knee replacement, complex primary, and revision total joint arthroplasty. Additionally, Dr. Stone has authored multiple peer reviewed publications in major orthopedic journals including the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Journal of Arthroplasty, and the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
Dr. Stone is a native of Fort Myers and a graduate of Bishop Verot High School. He enjoys fishing, running, cycling, and boating in his free time.
