Dr. Dale Segal is a board-certified, fellowship-trained spine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery. He completed his spine fellowship at Harvard medical school where he trained at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Albany where he studied biochemistry and molecular biology. He earned his medical degree on a full scholarship from Florida International University where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He then completed his residency at Emory University, where he served as chief resident at the Emory Orthopedics and Spine Hospital.
Dr. Segal is a surgical specialist with an exclusive focus on diagnosing and treating spinal disorders. His approach to patient care is to provide the most conservative measures possible. He specializes in minimally invasive techniques, motion-sparing procedures, degenerative diseases, navigation, robotics, deformities, fractures, and complex revisions. A prolific author, he has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, while also presenting at national and international conferences. As a member of spine and orthopedic societies, including NASS, AAOS, and AOA, Dr. Segal balances his professional pursuits with family time, watersports, scuba diving, and hiking.
